**OPEN SATURDAY 6/23 FROM 11-2 PM**

This restored triplex is located on the edge of Tacoma’s historic North Slope neighborhood, adjacent to the Three Bridges business district. Highly rated Lowell Elementary is directly across the street.

Just a mile down “I” Street is Tacoma General (one of three major hospitals on MLK) making this a convenient location for medical professionals who want to bike or commute via public transit.

Also within a mile is the ever expanding Proctor District and the University of Puget Sound. In fact the majority of UPS’s undergraduate population hails from out of state, so there is strong demand for rental housing in the neighborhoods around campus.

The entire building at 1915 Steele Street has seen substantial updates, with newer wiring, plumbing and furnaces in all three units. The kitchen and baths have all been renovated, however the two upper floors retain quite a bit of the original character and woodwork from 1904.

  • The top unit (1915) is a spacious 1,314 square feet with two beds + one bath, a private balcony and incredible natural light.
  • The middle unit (1917) has 1,314 square feet with fir floors and a small third bedroom, as well as a side entrance which conveniently accesses the off street parking (currently two spaces are included with this unit).
  • Downstairs (1917B) is a 788 square foot two bed + one bath unit. This one has a large, open concept kitchen and two spacious bedrooms – one with a huge walk-in closet!

All three units share the gorgeous outdoor space, which backs up to the neighboring Engine House #3 condominiums. There’s a large lawn and a level area that is perfect for a barbecue — which is great because you are located next to one of the best butchers in the city!

Dave’s Meat and Produce, has some delicious pre marinated options that you can just throw right on the grill. They also carry your pantry staples, fresh produce, and a solid selection of beer and wine.

Still not in the mood to cook? There are a ton of options in every direction! Head South less than a mile towards the Stadium District for hot eateries like Indo or Rhein Haus, or down the hill to Old Town for fish & chips at The Spar  — Tacoma’s oldest tavern.

Just a few blocks Northwest of this home is the Three Bridges District, aptly named for the three bridges that once existed between North Yakima Ave and North Oakes Street. Only two bridges remain —The N 21st Bridge that passes over the gulch, and the pedestrian bridge on N Yakima Ave between Fife and Anderson St. Most people can’t name the third bridge, but according to library records, it was a wooden bridge that spanned N Oakes and N 19th Street.

Some of the popular businesses in this neighborhood include:  Willow Salon and Spa, Source Yoga, Magoo’s Ale House and Eatery, Evolve Home + Apparel, Lou’s Barber Shop, 21 Cellars, The Rustic Aristocat Coffee Co, Cementine House and The Beach House Salon.

A little further West is the Proctor neighborhood, home to the city’s fanciest groceries at The Metropolitan Market, and an ever-expanding roster of restaurants and cafes including:  Olympia Coffee, Peaks & Pints Craft Beer Store, Pomodoro, Europa Bistro, East West, and Viva. Proctor hosts a popular Saturday Farmer’s Market, as well as the new La Paloma Artisan and Vintage Market.

Just down the hill is Old Town Park in the business district of Old Town, Tacoma. It has a newer playground, basketball hoop, and the Job Carr Cabin Museum. And from now through the end of summer you can enjoy free music every Wednesday evening thanks to the Old Town Concert series. Click here for the full lineup of local musicians and times.

All three units are currently rented, so showings are by appointment only. Don’t miss your opportunity to invest in Tacoma’s hot rental market. Call/text Anne Jones at: 253-444-8481
