SOLD! 6th Avenue District Craftsman

August 11, 2017

The historic district of 6th Avenue remains one of the most active business districts in the city of Tacoma – it holds an eclectic group of small businesses and eateries between Sprague and Proctor that locals frequent day and night. It’s quite the hot spot!

This cute craftsman is move-in ready, with hardwoods on the main floor, including two spacious bedrooms. No creepy basement here! The laundry is conveniently located off of the kitchen. Finished space upstairs can be 3rd bedroom AND an office – it’s huge! Fully fenced front and back yards plus an awesome location that is close to everything.

Need that AM caffeine fix? Valhalla Coffee, Metronome Coffee (live music on the weekends), and Bluebeard Coffee Roasters will get you there. And if you’re looking for a dozen of delicious donuts to take into the office Legendary Doughnuts makes handcrafted gourmet donuts, fritters & dessert bars.

6th Ave is a fab place to go for those date nights and happy hour with friends – Asado (voted best Latin American Restaurant 6 years running), Primo Grill (roll up doors for summertime!), Gateway to India, The Red Hot (an extensive tap list and gourmet hot dogs & weekend breakfast), Southern Kitchen (three words;  Mouthwatering Fried Chicken – also all southern sides to go with that are top notch), The Table (reservations recommended for these amazing dishes), Wild Orchid, Half Pint Pizza Pub, North China Garden, MSM Deli ( these Magical Sandwich Makers live up to their name), Silk Thai Cafe, Goofy Goose Burger & Teriyaki, Da Tiki Hut (family owned authentic Hawaiian food), Engine House No. 9 and Ice Cream Social (thee place to get handcrafted ice cream and sorbet!)

Need a drink? Crown Bar, Dirty Oscar’s Annex (also serve amazing brunch on the weekends!) and O’Malley’s Irish Pub, North End Social Club and Vino Aquino have you covered!

Jazzbones is the hot spot to take in some live music – I highly recommend seeing The Spazzmatics on 9/15! It’s also the go-to place to watch football games, take in some rock, reggae, a Prince tribute, alternative music and Sir Mix-A-Lot.

There is also no shortage of weekend brunch locations too – Shakabrah Java, The Original Pancake House, Old Milwaukee Cafe (limited seating so get there early, there’s often a line!)

Services & Shopping – Expand Yoga, Jon’s Barber Shop, Indoor Garden & Lighting, Gray Lumber Co, Serenity Spa & Natural Health Clinic, Commencement Bay Animal Hospital, Golden Oldies Records & Tapes, Tacoma Thrift & Consignment, The Nearsighted Narwhal, Scorpio Rising, HM Spa and Salon, Crescent Moon & Gifts, and Northwest Costume (fabulous costume rentals!)

Every year in the summer 6th Ave shuts down for a few hours to host Art on the Ave – an annual music and art festival. This is one of the most popular events in Tacoma and you’ll be close enough to hear the bands from your front yard!
